Four-star Guard Antwann Jones Names OSU in Final 4; Cowboys the Favorite
Four-star shooting guard Antwann Jones has whittled his collegiate options to four: Oklahoma State, NC State, Memphis and Kansas.
The Tampa. Fla. native from Oak Ridge has long been a target for OSU, dating all the way back to the Brad Underwood era, and right now the Cowboys appear to be in the catbird seat regarding his recruitment. 247Sports analyst Dain Ervin pegged the Pokes as the team to beat back in August, long before he cut his schools down.
Jones is a 6-foot-6, 210-pound four-star prospect ranked as the No. 67 overall player in the Class of 2018 and the No. 13 player at the shooting guard position.
According to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello, Oklahoma State coaches will be in Florida this week to check in on what appears to be one of their top targets on the board. While checking in on Jones, it’s likely the staff will also try and make up ground on Jones’ teammate, Emmitt Williams, a power forward whom OSU has had its sights set on for quite some time.
