Four-star In-State Safety Kendal Daniels Includes OSU in Top 12 Schools
Daniels cut his list in half on Tuesday.
Four-star Class of 2021 safety Kendal Daniels from Beggs, Oklahoma, trimmed his list of schools in half on Tuesday. In it, he named Oklahoma State to his new-look top-12, featuring Oklahoma, Florida State, Oregon, Baylor, LSU, Georgia, Alabama and Clemson.
He removed Auburn, Iowa State, Kansas, Michigan State, Nebraska, TCU, USC, Texas Tech and a few other notable schools from consideration.

Arkansas and Iowa State were Daniels’ first offers early in 2019, but Oklahoma State arrived third last February, establishing itself as one of the earliest to arrive to what quickly became a busy race to earn his commitment. He steadily rose from the ranks of the unranked to a four-star national recruit over the last year, his 6-foot-4, 190 pound frame earning him 24 scholarship offers in a year’s span.
Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, USC and Florida State all offered last month. Daniels is the third-ranked player in Oklahoma for the 2021 class.
Daniels has visited OSU (and OU) on several occasions, showing clear interest in potentially staying close to home. If he chose the Pokes he’d become the second defensive commit of 2021 and second commit overall joining OLB/S Kolbe Fields.
