Four-star Recruit Davon Dillard Cleared by NCAA
Four-star power forward Davon Dillard, who was a last minute finishing touch to the 2015 recruiting class for Travis Ford, has officially been cleared by the NCAA as reported by ESPN’s Jeff Goodman.
Not everyone who attended Our Savior New American remains in NCAA limbo. Told the Dillard kid going to Oklahoma State has been cleared.

Goodman’s tweet also references All-American Cheick Diallo, a five-star 6-foot-9 forward who signed with Kansas at the end of April. Diallo is a former teammate of Davon Dillard, and is still awaiting NCAA clearance – although it isn’t entirely uncommon at this point in the season.
Dillard, who was committed to Cal before flipping his commitment to the Cowboys last month, is ranked as the No. 3 overall recruit in Indiana and at 6-foot-5, could help fill a void left by Le’Bryan Nash’s departure.
Taking a look at some of his highlights, he seems to have the attitude to come in and compete right away for a position. But for now, his clearance should provide relief for Travis Ford and the staff who worked hard to make sure they filled the roster headed into next season.
