Four-star RB Eno Benjamin Announcing College Decision Monday Evening

Published

on

Oklahoma State running back target Eno Benjamin is set to announce his college decision on Monday evening. The four-star prospect from Wylie, Texas named OSU in his top 10; however Michigan, Baylor, OSU and Iowa appear to be the last men standing in the home stretch. And OSU is a long shot to land the standout back later this evening.

Oklahoma State does not hold a commitment at running back for the 2017 cycle. However some of the other favorites don’t share that same trait. Michigan, one of the top schools, has 3 commitments at running back. And Iowa, the long time front runner, has one.

Although OSU made a big effort for Benjamin over the last months, I think the lead Iowa has held since December is insurmountable. The Hawkeyes, who were his first offer in 2014, likely will overcome late pushes from Michigan, OSU, and others and claim a commitment tonight from the No. 25 player in the state of Texas for 2017.

Nothing is final with recruiting, obviously. I’ve seen more predictable circumstances go completely opposite of what people expect, but I think with Benjamin his decision seems to be all but announced.

He will declare his decision later this evening at 6:00 central time, presumably from his twitter account.
