Four-star WR Cam Williams Names OSU in Top 7
Just weeks after Tyrell Alexander announced his decision to back off his pledge to Oklahoma State, the Cowboys appear to be in a good spot with another Texas wide receiver – 2016 prospect Camron Williams.
Williams is a four-star athlete who stands at a ridiculous 6-foot-3, and has offers from Oklahoma TCU, Texas Tech and others. On Friday, he announced his top schools he is interested in, and Oklahoma State made the list along with several other Big 12 foes.

Williams has drawn comparisons to former Cowboy Dez Bryant, and his skill level is certainly up at the top of Texas high school football. The first play on his highlight video may leave you in agreement.
Williams has the speed and agility to line up outside and burn defenders deep. He’s also versatile enough to motion out of the slot on gadget plays, which OSU is known to run, to allow him the opportunity to make defenders miss in space.
The next step for OSU (and Williams) would be to have him on campus for a visit to experience the gameday atmosphere. Fortunately, OSU will play host to 4 of the teams in his top 7 at Boone Pickens stadium this season, which could be a major advantage for the Cowboys.
