This past Friday was chalked full of wild games among Oklahoma State commits.

Here is a look at how each Oklahoma State pledge played with stats, if available, provided my MaxPreps.

Jelani McDonald / ATH (DB) / Waco Connally (4-2) / Texas

Jelani McDonald is easing his way back from injury, getting a little work in Connally’s 45-27 win over Springtown.

McDonald, who plays quarterback for the Cadets, was 1-for-3 for eight passing yards on the day. Coming off a lower body injury, he didn’t have a rushing attempt which is usually where he does his work.

Elsewhere in that game, OSU 2024 target Kobe Black, younger brother of OSU corner Korie Black, ran for 141 yards and four touchdowns ON ONLY SIX CARRIES. Black also caught McDonald’s lone completion, returned an interception 81 yards, had four tackles and a tackle for loss.

Zane Flores / QB / Gretna (6-0) / Nebraska

Zane Flores led the comeback of all comebacks Friday night.

Gretna scored 26 points in the final seven minutes of its game with Bellevue West to win 40-37.

Flores was 24-for-40 with 382 passing yards, 16 rushing yards and five total touchdowns. On the season, Flores has thrown for 1,352 yards and 15 touchdowns to only three interceptions.

Jaedon Foreman / DL / Del City (4-1) / Oklahoma

Jaedon Foreman was on the wrong end of a great comeback this weekend.

Del City led McAlester 23-13 with less than two minutes to in the fourth quarter play when OU commit Erik McCarty took over, scoring on two long receptions and leading the Buffaloes to a 34-33 overtime win.

Foreman was credited with a tackle and a half sack.

Camron Heard / ATH (WR) / Furr (4-1) / Texas

Camron Heard beat the bricks off North Forest, as Furr won 53-12.

Heard, who plays quarterback for the Brahmans, was 10-for-17 with 167 passing yards, 162 rushing yards and seven total touchdowns. Five games into his senior season, Heard has been responsible for 19 touchdowns.

Kam Franklin / DB / Oak Grove (3-2) / Louisiana

Kam Franklin’s Oak Grove Tigers fell to Mangham 50-21 this weekend.

There weren’t any defensive stats recorded to MaxPreps.

Dylan Smith / DB / Braswell (2-4) / Texas

Braswell fell in a shootout to McKinney, losing 60-51.

OSU commit Dylan Smith had an interception, five tackles and three catches for 37 yards. He has three INTs in the six games Braswell has played this season.

Poasa Utu / LB / Kennedale (2-2) / Texas

After winning via forfeit last week, Poasa Utu and Kennedale routed Castleberry 56-0 this weekend.

Unfortunately, defensive statistics haven’t been recorded to MaxPreps, but it’s safe to assume Utu had a lot of tackles.

Jack Endean / OL / Tanque Verde (1-4) / Arizona

Jack Endean and Tanque Verde were set to take on Santa Rita this weekend, but I haven’t been able to track down a score, much less stats from the game.

Ricky Lolohea / DL / Trinity (0-5) / Texas

Trinity had a bye week and will play Paschal next week.

JaKobe Sanders / OL / Stillwater (5-0) / Oklahoma

Stillwater remains unbeaten and in search of a 6A-II state title after beating Booker T. Washington 38-6.

Behind Sanders, the Pioneers rushed for 177 yards on 4.9 yards per carry, and Gage Gundy threw for 149 yards and a touchdown.
