Friday Night Highlights: Flores Throws Six Touchdowns by Halftime, Franklin’s Big Night
Flores is up to 23 TDs to only three INTs.

It was another solid weekend of games for Oklahoma State pledges.
Here is a look at how the Cowboys’ 2023 class played with stats, if available, via MaxPreps.
Jelani McDonald / ATH (DB) / Waco Connally (5-2) / Texas
Jelani McDonald and Connally had a bye week this weekend. The Cadets will host 3-5 Salado this week.
Zane Flores / QB / Gretna (8-0) / Nebraska
Zane Flores threw six touchdowns in the first half of Gretna’s 71-17 win against Omaha South.
Flores finished 19-for-26 with 276 yards and the six scores before making way for the Dragons’ backups to get some work.
On the season Flores has 1,822 passing yards, 23 passing touchdowns and only three interceptions.
Jaedon Foreman / DL / Del City (6-1) / Oklahoma
Jaedon Foreman and Del City topped Tulsa Memorial 63-21.
MaxPreps didn’t have any defensive stats listed, but Foreman caught two passes for 32 yards as a tight end.
Camron Heard / ATH (WR) / Furr (5-2) / Texas
Camron Heard and Furr ran into an undefeated buzzsaw in Washington and lost their second game of the year, falling 30-13.
Heard had 115 rushing yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. He also had 22 passing yards as the Brahmans’ quarterback.
Kam Franklin / DB / Oak Grove (4-3) / Louisiana
Kam Franklin was everywhere in Oak Grove’s 57-22 win over Ferriday.
There weren’t any defensive stats listed on MaxPreps, but Franklin blocked a punt, made two tackles for a safety, forced a fumble and had a kickoff return touchdown per his highlights.
Dylan Smith / DB / Braswell (2-5) / Texas
Dylan Smith and Braswell also ran into an undefeated team this weekend and fell to Guyer 62-7.
Smith had seven tackles and another interception (his fourth of the season), this time picking off OU commit Jackson Arnold.
Poasa Utu / LB / Kennedale (4-3) / Texas
Kennedale got back above .500 with a dominant 67-0 win over Carter-Riverside.
With the blowout, Poasa Utu didn’t seem to get a ton of work, finishing with two tackles including a tackle for loss.
Jack Endean / OL / Tanque Verde (4-4) / Arizona
After four straight losses to start the year, the Tanque Verde Hawks are back to .500 with their 57-0 win over Bisbee.
Endean had four tackles and a number of nasty blocks. The Hawks ran for 10.3 yards per carry.
Ricky Lolohea / DL / Trinity (2-5) / Texas
After starting 0-5, Ricky Lolohea’s Trinity Trojans are now on a two-game winning streak after beating Chisholm Trail 65-13.
Stats haven’t been put up for Trinity as of writing.
JaKobe Sanders / OL / Stillwater (7-0) / Oklahoma
It was another dominant performance from Stillwater, as the Pioneers remain unbeaten with a 55-7 win over Bartlesville.
Stillwater ran for 5.1 yards per carry, and Pioneer quarterbacks combined for 360 yards (348 from Gage Gundy) and five touchdowns (all from Gundy).
