Friday Night Highlights: Rodney Fields Puts Up Ollie Gordon-Esque Performance against Glenpool

High school football playoffs are drawing near, and a handful of Cowboy commits have yet to lose a game in their senior seasons.

Here is a quick look at how each of Oklahoma State’s 2024 commits performed this weekend with stats and highlights provided when available.

Rodney Fields / RB / Del City (7-0) / Oklahoma

Rodney Fields had an Ollie Gordon-esque performance in Del City’s 67-0 win against Glenpool.

Fields had four rushes for 150 yards and a touchdown, and he also caught two passes for another 113 yards and two scores, per MaxPreps.

Del City will be back in action Friday against Coweta.


Josh Ford / TE / Stillwater (6-2) / Oklahoma

Make it six straight wins for the Pioneers as they blasted Putnam City West 49-0 this past weekend.

OSU commit Josh Ford was credited with a quartet of tackles, and he had some gnarly blocks to spring some big runs for the Pioneers.

Stillwater hosts Tahlequah on Thursday.


Temerrick Johnson / Edge / Midlothian Heritage (8-0) / Texas

After an overtime scare the week before, Temerrick Johnson’s Midlothian Heritage squad strolled past Corsicana 56-13 this weekend to remain unbeaten.

Johnson was credited with a tackle and a pass breakup in the game.


Willie Nelson / DB / Longview (7-1) / Texas

Willie Nelson’s Longview Lobos moved their win streak to seven games with a 36-13 win against McKinney North.

Nelson was credited with six tackles in the game.

The Lobos host Tyler on Friday.


David Kabongo / S / Byron Nelson (8-0) / Texas

Unbeaten Byron Nelson played winless Keller Central this weekend, and it went about like you’d expect. Byron Nelson won 56-10.

There weren’t stats for Byron Nelson on MaxPreps, but Kabongo’s highlights show him nearly scoring on a punt return as well as making a few tackles.

Byron Nelson plays unbeaten Southlake Carroll on Friday, in what could be a game of the week.


Jonathan Agumadu / LB / McKinney (7-1) / Texas

McKinney rebounded from its first loss of the year with a 26-22 win against Rock Hill.

Jonathan Agumadu was credited with four tackles and a sack.

McKinney plays Friday at Denton Guyer.


Landyn Cleveland / S / Mansfield Legacy (2-6) / Texas

Landyn Cleveland’s Legacy Broncos got back in the win column with a 27-14 victory against Lake Ridge.

There weren’t stats for Legacy on MaxPreps, but Cleveland’s highlights show him making an interception in the end zone and recording a handful of tackles.

Legacy hosts Cedar Hill on Friday.


Armstrong Nnodim / DL / Horn (4-5) / Texas

Armstrong Nnodim’s Horn Jaguars fell back below .500 with a 16-3 loss against Rockwall-Heath.

There weren’t stats for Horn on MaxPreps, but Nnodim’s highlights show him blowing up a few plays.

Horn has a week off before playing Royse City on Nov. 3.


Gunnar Wilson / LB / Melissa (8-0) / Texas

Gunnar Wilson’s Melissa Cardinals flew past Greenville 55-14.

There were no stats for the game on MaxPreps.

Melissa plays Friday at Princeton.


Tre Griffiths / WR / Keller (6-2) / Texas

After back-to-back losses to a pair of unbeaten teams, Tre Griffiths’ Keller Indians got back in the win column with a 53-13 win against Fossil Ridge.

Griffiths wasn’t credited with any stats on MaxPreps.

Keller plays Friday at Timber Creek.


Caleb Hackleman / OL / Pleasant Grove (8-0) / Texas

Caleb Hackleman’s Pleasant Grove Hawks remained unbeaten with a 42-27 win against Liberty-Eylau.

The Hawks travel Friday to North Lamar.


Luke Webb / DL / Deer Park (7-1) / Texas

Luke Webb’s Deer Park Deer powered past Channelview 56-39.

Deer Park hosts Sam Rayburn on Friday.


Chauncey Johnson / OL / Lonoke (3-5) / Arkansas

The Lonoke Jackrabbits suffered a second straight loss this weekend, falling to Bald Knob 27-7.

Lonoke plays at Stuttgart on Friday.


Nuku Mafi, Semisi Tonga / OL / Salt Lake City West (6-3) / Utah

Nuku Mafi, Semisi Tonga and the West Panthers had a bye in the first round of the playoffs. The Panthers will play 8-3 Alta on Friday.
