Game Thread: Bedlam

It’s finally here. This game should be wild and it should be crazy, hopefully it will be fun. We’ll update this each quarter, hopefully reporting more than three forward passes from Mason Rudolph.

The Bedlam game thread is now open. How are we feeling, folks?

1st Quarter

We’ve already seen a Cowboy TD overturned and a couple of missed opportunities for the Pokes. Baker got 7 on the first play of the second quarter. Cowboys will need to respond in kind or this could get ugly. Anyone have any fingernails left?

2nd Quarter

How are we all doing, folks? One Bedlam head coach was content to go into halftime with a tied game and one didn’t get that opportunity to rest on his laurels thanks to Justice Hill. This one is knotted up at 38 a piece and the good guys will take the first kickoff of the second half. Brace yourselves, this one might be an all-timer.

3rd Quarter

I don’t know what to do with my hands. After a 24-28 second quarter, defenses stepped up. OSU logged four sacks in two drives and OU scored 10 points off of Mason Rudolph turnovers.

Final: Sooners-62, Cowboys-52

The bad guys prevailed and OSU couldn’t take advantage of turnovers and field position. That was a tough one to swallow.
