Game Thread: Camping World Bowl
The Cowboy are in Orlando to face the Hokies in a battle for 10-win seasons. Oklahoma State’s prolific offense which ranks 2nd in offensive efficiency per BCFtoys will face a Virginia Tech defense ranked 9th in defensive efficiency for an intriguing strength-on-strength matchup.
Can Rudolph and Co. move the ball on the Hokies? Will James Washington catch Rashaun? Which defensive lineman will run for a TD?
Stick around and politely discuss frantically rant about the Hokie-Pokie Bowl. We’ll keep the thread updated as the game progresses.
End of 1st: OSU 3 – VT 7
It’s not been pretty early as the Cowboys’ defense has struggled to get off the field on third downs (0-3). The Hokies have been getting all they want on offense and have doubled the time of possession through 15 minutes.
Let’s hope OSU’s defense can get off the field without going down two scores early in the second.
End of 2: OSU 13 – VT 7
The Cowboys finally got off the field on a third down and finally came up with 7 instead of 3 in red zone. Good guys on top as we head into the break. Let’s see if Rudolph can get James Washington a chance at the record in the second half.
End of 3: OSU 27 – VT 14
The Cowboys’ dynamic duo each made some history and Oklahoma State builds its lead. Here’s to a nice finish and a third-straight 10-win season for OSU.
Final: OSU 30 – VT 21
The Cowboys held on with some late-game heriocs and a couple of stops on defense for their 10th win in the third-straight season.
