Gundy: “I know exactly where we’re at and exactly what we need to do to win another championship”

It’s no secret Gundy’s mood has improved with the 2014-2015 season ending the way it did. Going into the fall, many believe that the Cowboys have a decent shot at the College Football Playoff. But the College Football Playoff isn’t his goal.

“There will be people who say, ‘What do you mean? Your goal is not winning a national championship?? Gundy told ESPN’s Brandon Chatmon. But his explanation is simple: “If we don’t win our league, we’re never going to win a national championship.”

“I know exactly where we’re at and exactly what we need to do to win another championship,” Gundy went on to say.

It appears Gundy is confident with his vision for bringing another Big 12 title to Stillwater.
