Here’s a reimagined Pistol Pete football helmet

It’s the offseason, y’all.[1. JK, we talk about this during the season too.]

An Instagram account labeled “Fresh Football Helmets” has thrown a new-fangled twist onto some classic college football helmets. I have to admit I like some of them.

You can view the full arsenal here but I’ll drop my three favorites below.

OSU was not one of them, though it wasn’t one of the worst, either. It’s not that I didn’t like it — I just think their current Monster Pete chrome lid is better.

Also, they have nothing on some of Chris Knox’s designs.
