Here’s how to sum up OSU’s day so far

We will have much more on this later on today — including Gundy’s press conference — but there are two ways to look at this quote.

1. OSU had a lot of needs and therefore whoever it signed would fill those needs.

2. OSU has never targeted, performed and executed as well as it did with this class. Certainly there are specific needs every year but you don’t always get the right players to fill the right spots.

I (obviously) prefer the latter way of looking at it.

Also, it’s a lot easier to fill needs when QB1 looks like the bedrock upon which a building to hoist multiple Big 12 title banners can be built.
