Hit Play-off Round 3: Vote for Your Favorite Play of the Season

Published

on

After each week of the season, we hand-picked four of the most reel-worthy highlight plays and you voted for your favorite. Well, these blue-blood clips passed the eye test and we’re on to the playoff.

We’ll simply divide these up in three rounds, we’re now at Round 3. Just vote with the attached Twitter poll below and the winners of Rounds 1-3 will face off for one final poll to decide the top play of Oklahoma State’s season.

You voted Mason Rudolph’s best Houdini impersonation as the winner for Weeks 1-4, and Moss-ell’s circus catch at Tech as the winner for Weeks 5-8.

Now, let’s pick the best play from the winners of Weeks 9-12, for the last spot in our bowl week final.

Week 9: Calvin Bundage sacks Baker (the first time)

Calvin Bundage is one of my favorite players to watch on this team. I can’t remember seeing another Cowboy quite as athletic and reckless from the position, when he’s got his timing and can pin his ears back and be aggressive. You know this, the first of his two sacks of Baker Mayfield, had to leave a bruised rib or two. Here’s to two more years of flailing-arm walk-off celebrations.

Week 10: Randy Marce saves the day (again)

Ateman’s senior campaign may go down as one of the most underrated of all time at Oklahoma State. His Biletnikoff-winning counterpart deserves top billing but no one made more game-saving, potential season-saving plays than Moss-ell.

Week 11: Stoner’s Would-Be Game Saver

The Cardiac Cowboys almost pulled off the comeback in what may be the worst loss of Mike Gundy’s career. And if they had, it would have only been possible thanks to this broken tackle and score by the freshman super slot receiver. Luckily, there should be plenty more where that came from.

Week 12 (Senior Day): Rudolph-2-Washington in BPS one last time

As the book closes on these two Cowboys’ historic time together, try not to take what has been a special duo for granted. Even if Spencer Sanders wins Oklahoma State’s second Heisman trophy — or Taylor Cornelius leads a game-winning drive in next year’s Bedlam game — we’re going to miss watching QB1 and the Prez for a long time.

Stay tuned for the final round next week, where you get to choose your favorite play of the 2017 regular season.
