Hoops Preview: TV Info, Team Stats and Projected Lineups for the Cowgirls’ Senior Night Matchup against Kansas

The Cowgirls close out their regular season with a visit from Kansas on Saturday with plenty to play for.

As of writing, OSU is in a three-way tie for fourth at 11-6 in conference play behind only TCU (14-3), and West Virginia and Baylor (both 13-4). So a Top 4 seed and double-bye in Kansas City is still very much in play.

But the Cowgirls are focused beyond the Big 12 Tournament. A Quad 1 win at Iowa State didn’t budge them off the 8 seed according to the latest Bracketology by ESPN. A win against the Jayhawks is important to not only retain that momentum heading into KC but to also bolster their case come Selection Sunday.

Both teams are actually coming off a big win.

Though the Jayhawks are in the bottom half of the league and aren’t quite as worried about March ramifications, they’ve been playing better over the last half of the season. KU has won five of its last six games and three-straight, including a huge win over No. 20 Texas Tech on Wednesday.
