In Last Eight Years, Oklahoma State Has More Wins Than Florida, Georgia and USC
It’s unfair to Florida, Georgia and USC that I’m taking a convenient eight-year snapshot of their programs, but still … eight years (and ongoing) is a long time. In that span, Oklahoma State has won more games than those three schools as well as Nebraska, Missouri, Penn State, Texas, Auburn, Michigan, Arkansas and Texas A&M.
That’s pretty impressive. There’s more. According to OSU, only Alabama, Florida State, Michigan State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon and Stanford have more 10-win seasons this decade than Oklahoma State’s four.
That’s ludicrous.
Here’s a look at the top 20 programs over the last eight years (2008-2015).
Can you imagine telling yourself during that Texas-USC title game in January 2006 that OSU would have more wins than Texas from that date forward and be within six of SC. What a world.
