In-State Star Brynden Walker Commits to OSU Over Texas, KU and Others
Walker becomes the fourth commitment for OSU in the 2020 class.
Bishop McGuinness outside linebacker Brynden Walker committed to Oklahoma State on Monday.
Walker’s commitment comes less than two weeks removed from OSU making an official offer.
“First, I have to thank God for putting me in the position I’m in today,” he said on Twitter. “Without him none of this would have been possible. It’s been an amazing experience going through the entire recruiting process. I want to thank my family, coaches, friends and everyone that’s supported me. I’m beyond blessed and honored to say that I have committed to play football at Oklahoma State University.”
Walker picked Oklahoma State over offers from Minnesota, Texas Tech, Kansas, Rutgers and others. A three-star prospect, he racked up more than a dozen offers — including 11 since Jan. 28 — before shutting it down Monday.
Walker becomes the fourth commitment for OSU in its 2020 recruiting class and the second-highest rated, joining four-star OL Eli Russ and three-star Jabbar Muhammad and Grant Mahon.
