Five-star Point Guard Names OSU in final 6 schools
Trae Young Narrows his Options
Five-star point guard Trae Young, the No. 1 player in the state of Oklahoma in 2017 has narrowed his options down to a top six and OSU remains in the mix. He released a video on twitter on Wednesday evening which named Washington, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Kentucky, and Kansas as his top 6 schools.

Among the top of his list, most believe that OU, Kansas, and Kentucky are the serious contenders, with Washington being an X-factor with his buddy Michael Porter Jr. recently pledging to the Huskies. Texas Tech is an obvious one because Young is a Tech legacy, however I don’t see them being real players. OSU remains a dark horse in his recruitment, too, and could have a ton of playing time to offer next year either alongside Jawun Evans or (possibly?) replacing Jawun as he shoots for the next level. Whatever the case, OSU could certainly find a spot for one of the best players in the 2017 class.
