Injury Report: Star Iowa State RB David Montgomery Out for OSU Game
Iowa State will be without its best player.
Iowa State running back David Montgomery, a First-Team All-Big 12 selection last season, will miss Saturday’s game against Oklahoma State. He suffered an “upper arm injury” according to coach Matt Campbell against TCU, and had been questionable to play all week.
Montgomery’s absence is the biggest injury note entering the game but there are several other relevant returnees for OSU from the injury list, which could swing the game. Linebacker Calvin Bundage is expected to return after missing the Kansas game, according to the Cowboy Radio Network.
Wide receiver Dillon Stoner and safety Malcolm Rodriguez are game-time decisions, however left tackle Arlington Hambright has been ruled out.
