Jeff Carroll Named to Julius Erving Award Watch List
Oklahoma State senior Jeff Carroll was one of 20 players named to the Julius Erving Award watch list which was announced on Wednesday. The award is given out annually to the best small forward in college basketball.
Carroll, who averaged 17.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per game last season, is the Big 12’s highest returning scorer this season. His breakout junior season in which he shot a gaudy 44.4 percent from the 3-point line earned him a spot among some of the all time greats in Big 12 history, becoming one of only four in Big 12 history to rank in the top 10 in points scored, rebounds grabbed, and shooting percentage.
Here’s a look at the other players named to the watch list.
