Jordan Sterns: ‘The Goal Is Still Attainable’
I suppose it depends on what your goals are, but I get what Jordan Sterns is saying here. The College Football Playoff is probably not attainable (not that that was a realistic goal after the way OSU has looked the first two weeks), but winning the Big 12 actually is. Sterns hit on this and said Mike Gundy encouraged his entire squad in that direction.
“I didn’t know what to think,” said Sterns. “That’s something you see on ESPN once a year. Those guys made a great play. Also I think there’s something we could have done — myself personally. You have to learn from it. We still have a chance. The goal is still attainable. We just have to bounce back from it.
“[Gundy said] thank God it’s Game 2 and not later on in the Big 12. We still have a chance to win. [To beat Central Michigan], yeah we want to win … but it’s not the goal. There’s a lot of things we can take away from today’s game that will help benefit us when we get in the Big 12.”
