JUCO OL Shane Richards to Announce Commitment Today
2016 offensive tackle and junior college prospect Shane Richards sent out a tweet on Monday to announce he will be making his commitment public on Tuesday. Richards is a 6-6, 325-lb big man and, with the status of senior offensive tackle Tramonda Moore currently somewhat up in the air, Richards becomes a big-time target as we head toward signing day.
I confirmed with Richards that he will indeed announce his decision today around 1:00 via twitter. He made an official visit to OSU several weeks ago and an official visit to Louisville two weekends ago.
If I’m making a prediction, I think OSU fans should feel pretty good about his status with the Pokes. With the opportunity for immediate playing time coming from a junior college, I think it would be a tough choice for him to look away from.
