Junior College Pitcher Kai Fyke Commits to Oklahoma State
OSU adds a pitcher from Canada.
Josh Holliday’s squad picked up a righty pitcher from the junior college ranks toward the end of last week.
Kai Fyke, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound right-hander out of Central Arizona College, announced a commitment to Oklahoma State this past Thursday. In 16 appearances with the Vaqueros this past season, Fyke had a 4-2 record with a 2.07 ERA. He struck out 72 while walking only 18.

Fyke hails from British Columbia, Canada and was listed as a sophomore on Central Arizona’s 2025 roster.
Many of the Cowboys’ arms are eligible to return in 2026, as only three (Tommy Allman, Landry Kyle and Aaron Weber) pitchers on OSU’s 2025 roster were listed as seniors. But with the MLB Draft and the portal existing, you can never be too sure on who is going where.
The OSU pitching staff will be under new management for the first time in the Holliday era next season with the retirement of longtime pitching coach Rob Walton.
