Kick Time Announced for Oklahoma State’s Homecoming Game against Cincinnati
America’s Greatest Homecoming will be played under the lights.
Despite the Cowboys’ rough season, America’s Greatest Homecoming will take place under the lights.
Oklahoma State and Cincinnati will kick at 7 p.m. on Oct. 18 on ESPN2, the Big 12 announced Monday.
It’ll be the Cowboys’ third evening kick of the season, but it’s their first that is played on a Saturday, as OSU’s 27-7 win against UT-Martin came on a Thursday and its 19-12 loss to Tulsa came on a Friday.
The Pokes enter this weekend’s game against Houston at 1-4, having lost those four consecutively by a combined score of 174-55.
Cincy is coming off a big win against Iowa State. The Bearcats are 4-1 in Scott Satterfield’s third season at the helm. Cincinnati hosts UCF this weekend before heading to Stillwater.
The Bearcats are 2-0 in Big 12 play thus far with that aforementioned win against Iowa State and a 37-34 win against Kansas in Lawrence. Cincy is led by quarterback Brendan Sorsby, who has thrown for 1,257 yards and 12 touchdowns thus far. He’s also ran for 291 yards and another five scores.
OSU is 3-1 all-time against Cincinnati with the most recent game also being a night game in Boone Pickens Stadium. The Cowboys won that one 45-13 off the back of a 271-yard, two-touchdown performance from Ollie Gordon. Before that, the programs hadn’t met since 1983.
