Kyler Murray Misremembers Name of Mike Yurcich, Says he’s ‘Not a Fan’ of Stillwater
Kyler Murray fans the flames of Bedlam.

Bedlam week is upon on us and with it comes all the trappings and frills (or jabs and digs) of any bitter rivalry. The departed Baker Mayfield pushed the derision to another level with his Twitter fingers, his fu manchu and off-field antics almost as much as he did with his TDs.
It appears that Mayfield’s successor also knows how to play the game.
During pre-Bedlam media availability, Heisman hopeful Kyler Murray was asked about Oklahoma State and any familiarity he had with its coaches or players. He said that the Cowboys recruited him but that was it.
When one media member asked if it was Mike Gundy that recruited him, he fanned the Bedlam flames a bit.
“No, it was, uh. I forgot his name. Yellich?,” Murray said before being corrected. “Yurcich, whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah.”
When asked about it if he liked the school, he answered, “I’m not a fan of Stillwater.”

Fortunately for Murray, this year’s edition of the lopsided rivalry will take place in his home stadium, and he’s slated to be playing for the Oakland A’s organization when the Sooners head to BPS next season.
Kyler Murray goes with a "no comment" on what he's seen from Oklahoma State's defense.
Moments later says Mike Yurcich reached out to him during recruitment. Murray didn't have much interest, said he doesn't like Stillwater.
Bedlam.
