The Cowboys are on the road in Orlando, looking to keep their Big 12-best five-game win streak alive against the Knights.

Oklahoma State comes in with a two-way tie for first place in the league while UCF is fresh off its first Big 12 win ever. With a direct line to Arlington and Big 12 Championship in front of them, the Cowboys will look to avoid a Bedlam hangover and move to 6-1 in conference play.

The Knights, on the other hand, need to win two of their last three to become bowl-eligible for the eighth-straight season. Only two of those games are at home including this one.

LIVE UPDATES

FINAL: Oklahoma State 3, UCF 45

The Cowboys’ got humbled on the road in the rain. The Pokes’ five-game win streak ends in embarrassment in a game that the Bedlam-drunk Cowboys apparently weren’t ready for.

Garrett Rangel is in the game. That’s the rainy white flag. He immediately nearly hits Cale Cabbiness for a big sideline play that pops out.

Scoring Update: Oklahoma State 3, UCF 45 | Q4 | 9:00

The Knights cap a nine-play, 92-yard TD drive with RJ Harvey’s third rushing score. There were two Big 12 Offensive Player of the Game honorees playing today, but one got the better of the other. Early in the fourth, Harvey has 199 yards and three scores on 21 carries. Gordon has just 25 yards on 12 carries.

The Cowboys turn it over on downs again. UCF takes over at its own 8 and then immediately pulled off a 37-yard play. That’s the fifth passing play of 35 or more by UCF.

This is gross.

END OF 3: Oklahoma State 3, UCF 38

The Cowboys are knocking on the down. Again at the UCF 7. We’ll see if they can pay this one off with their first TD. The Cowboys have 15 minutes to make this look more competitive.

Scoring Update: Oklahoma State 3, UCF 38 | Q3 | 4:09

The Knights continue to roll on the Cowboys. Plumlee and Hudson hook up for their third TD connection of the day.

Possession: OSU goes for it on fourth-and-1 after Ollie Gordon comes up just short of the line to game. A rollout by Bowman set up a throw to Brennan Presley but they couldn’t complete. The Cowboys turn it over on downs.

Scoring Update: Oklahoma State 3, UCF 31 | Q3 | 8:56

After getting the ball back, the Cowboys give it back. Bowman’s third tipped pick of the day cuts even deeper as the Pokes were on the edge of the score zone. Then RJ Harvey took a handoff, rushed up the middle a proceeded to gash the Pokes for 92 yards and another score.

So…

Big Play Alert: The Cowboys force a UCF fumble right off of that field goal. They will take over at the UCF 24-yard line. Gotta score with that.

Scoring Update: Oklahoma State 3, UCF 24 | Q3 | 10:00

The Cowboys looked a lively as they had on offense all day, but had to settle for 3. After marching down to the UCF 7-yard line, a would-be TD to Rashod Owens was broken up in the end zone. Still, the Cowboys won’t be shut out. Now we’ll see if the defense can respond as well.

HALFTIME: Oklahoma State 0, UCF 24

The Cowboys turned in a stinker for a first half. Ollie Gordon has 10 rushing yards and the Cowboys are at a net -6. The Pokes have lost the turnover battle 0-3.

Things couldn’t be much worse but the Cowboys will get the ball back. If they can find and strangle Squinky, maybe the a TD to start the third quarter can get them back on track.

And that’s another tipped pick. The box score is going to be unfair to Alan Bowman. Both of his interceptions were tipped. But nothing has gone the Cowboys’ way so far.

Scoring Update: Oklahoma State 0, UCF 24 | Q2 | 10:35

That was quick. On a free play, Plumlee found Kobe Hudson for a 75-yard touchdown. The wheels are off and the Cowboys are stuck in the rain in Orlando.

Brennan Presley with a nice return but the Cowboys sputter in the rain and punt it. Gordon did return to the game. That’s a plus.

Scoring Update: Oklahoma State 0, UCF 17 | Q2 | 14:04

OSU does well to hold UCF to a field goal after DJ McKinney gets flagged for a PI in the end zone. Cam Smith with a nice pass breakup on the opposite side of the end zone. Still, that’s a three-score deficit early in the second.

END OF 1 | Oklahoma State 0, UCF 14

You couldn’t have scripted a worse start. The Cowboys are down two scores after coughing up to two turnovers in the first quarter.

Bowman dials up Leon Johnson III but the pass it tipped and then picked. That’s two turnovers in the first quarter for OSU. And Ollie Gordon II is being attended to after apparently injuring himself attempting to tackle the UCF DB.

Bowman got up gimpy after an impressive run that was called off due to a holding penalty. OSU first-and-20 from the 23.

The running lanes haven’t been there, but Alan Bowman is on fire. He’s 7-for-7 for 96 yards early and has the Cowboys in scoring position.

Scoring Update: Oklahoma State 0, UCF 14 | Q1 | 9:08

Not great. The Cowboys find themselves in a 14-0 hole early thanks to that turnover and some big passing plays by the Knights.

Ollie Gordon coughed up the football on his second carry and the Knights strike fast with a 38-yard pass from Plumlee to Javon Baker. They are right back in OSU territory.

Bowman has a big 21-yard strike of his own.

Scoring Update: Oklahoma State 0, UCF 7 | Q1 | 11:50

The Knights needed less than three minutes to get on the board. UCF marched down the field for an opening possession scoring drive capped by a John Rhys Plumlee TD a RJ Harvey TD.

Cowboys win the toss and defer. The Knights start fast with a 37-yard pass play on the first play of the game.
