Luke Mechler Commits to Wrestle For the Cowboys
John Smith adds a former double All-American to his 2021 class.
Stoughton, Wisconsin product Luke Mechler has committed to wrestle for the Cowboys.
Mechler finished second at the Wisconsin state tournament in February at 160 and third in 2021 at 152.
Mechler has some strong freestyle credentials, finishing as a double All-American at Fargo in 2018 and as the runner-up in Greco.
Mechler is a part of the 2021 class and projects as a college 157-65.
