Mason Rudolph and James Washington Semifinalists for Maxwell Award
Mason Rudolph and James Washington have worked well together over their four years as teammates, to say the least. Rudolph is the Cowboys’ all-time leading passer and Washington is closing on Rashaun Woods to claim that title of leading receiver in OSU history, and they have each other to thank for a big part of each player’s success.
But college football’s most dynamic duo are also competing against one another. On Monday, the Maxwell Football Club announced 18 semi-finalists for the Maxwell Award, an honor give to the College Football Player of the Year. It’s voted on by head coaches, members of the Maxwell Football Club and media members.
And the Cowboys are the only team with multiple members to make this latest cut. Here’s a look at the list.
