Newcomer Tracker: Youngsters Play Big Roles in Bedlam 2018

OSU’s freshmen defensive backs played key roles in Saturday’s Bedlam shootout.

Kolby Peel, Jarrick Bernard, Tanner McCalister and Kanion Williams all played and brought something to the table in the near-win. On the season, Peel and Bernard have emerged as key contributors in the secondary; Kanion Williams, who was pushing for some extended run over the last few weeks, played, too.

Gundy announced Monday the plan for Williams is to sit him for the remainder of the season so he can redshirt and retain his eligibility. He has played in four games this season.
