We may need to change the name of this weekly series to “Emmanuel Ogbah Highlights.” The former OSU sack leader has been on a tear since landing in South Beach.

Here’s a look at how former Pokes did in the NFL this weekend.

E-Man Extends Streak

Ogbah showed out again on Sunday, as his Dolphins took down the Chargers 29-21, recording a sack and two passes defended.

His current streak of six-straight games with a sack is the second-longest in Miami Dolphins history. (He’s actually had eight straight with at least 0.5 sack.)

Ogbah has been a huge part of Miami’s defensive renaissance in 2020 and is now T-4th in the NFL with eight total sacks as well as T-3rd with three forced fumbles. He’s getting to the QB, folks.

Washington Effective with Limited Targets

James Washington continues to see sparse touches in the Steelers’ loaded receiver corps. But when Ben Roethlisberger does look his way, he normally delivers.

Washington caught both of this targets for 30 yards during Pittsburgh’s 36-10 win over Cincinnati, including this grab.

Other Updates

• Former OSU cornerback Kevin Peterson was placed on the injured reserve list by the Cardinals last week after sustaining a concussion during Arizona’s Week 9 loss to the Dolphins.

• Justice Hill saw his first offensive touch of the season, catching his one target for three yards during the Ravens’ 23-17 loss to the Patriots. He has yet to take a handoff this season.

Unfortunately, Hill was flagged for another special teams penalty when he tackled a punt returner who had signaled a fair catch.

• Chris Carson has missed the last three games with a mid-foot sprain, but it appears he is likely to return on Thursday night when the Seahawks hosts the Cardinals.
