Fix, a prospect from Sand Springs (Oklahoma), is rated as the No. 3 wrestler in the country in the senior class, and the No. 1 ranked prospect in the 132-pound weight class.
Fix was a member of the US Junior World Team, where he finished with a Bronze Medal at 121 pounds. He’s also a former Cadet World Bronze Medalist.
Fix’s dad, Derek Fix, wrestled at Oklahoma State from 1989-1991. So the family ties, coupled with his school being an hour away from Stillwater, almost certainly played a large factor in his decision.
In Daton’s interview with his commitment to OSU, he stated he intends to drop down and wrestle in the 125-pound weight class for Oklahoma State.
