Birmingham has played 793 snaps for the Cowboys this season, where he has allowed no sacks and 13 pressures, per Pro Football Focus. He started the year at left tackle before playing some right tackle in place of an injured Jake Springfield, but he spent most of the year at left guard.
Before missing the entire 2022 season with injury, Birmingham started in all 14 games of the Cowboys’ Fiesta Bowl-winning 2021 campaign. He was an opening day starter as a redshirt freshman in 2020 but suffered an injury that kept him out until the bowl game that season.
Birmingham joined the Pokes as part of the 2019 recruiting class out of Katy High School (TX). He was the No. 596 player in the 2019 class, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. He chose OSU over offers from UCLA, Ole Miss, Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Purdue and others.
