Oklahoma State Adds Kicker After Losing Another
Some last-minute roster shuffling for the Cowboys.
With fall camp already underway, Oklahoma State had a late addition to its roster.
Kicker Drake Tabor announced Sunday that he will be attending OSU. Tabor is already included on OSU’s roster with a headshot. The Cowboys were in need of a kicker with projected backup Sam Babbush no longer on the roster.

A redshirt junior, Tabor has had stops at Samford, Auburn and Ottawa College. He was a five-star recruit in the 2021 class, according to Kohl’s Professional Camps, out of Spain Park High School in Birmingham, Alabama. He initially committed to St. Thomas out of high school but quickly entered the transfer portal with four years of eligibility before heading to Samford.
Babbush had just came from Charleston Southern as a graduate transfer, but, according to Pokes Report, accepted a job offer outside of football.
Logan Ward is expected to handle kicking duties for the Cowboys this season. A junior from Edmond, Ward was 7-for-7 on PATs last season. He punted in 2022, averaging 45 yards on 37 punts.
