Oklahoma State Announces Wrestling Schedule
As always, the Pokes have a tough schedule.
Oklahoma State released its wrestling schedule Tuesday, and to no one’s surprise, it’s tough.
The Cowboys’ 2022-23 campaign includes 19 total dates, seven home duals, eight Big 12 conference matchups and a nonconference slate that includes Minnesota, Oregon State, Iowa and last year’s NCAA runner-up Michigan.
It all, of course, builds into the Big 12 tournament in Tulsa at the BOK Center which will be followed shortly by the NCAA tournament in Tulsa at the BOK Center.
Overall, a really strong schedule for Oklahoma State. The two highlight home duals come vs. Oklahoma on Feb. 16 and vs. Missouri, the Big 12 Champions from last season, on Feb. 5.
The road slate is brutal. Oregon State is a tough early test. Then comes Northern Iowa and Iowa State on back-to-back days, Michigan at a TBA neutral site location, Iowa, OU, and even New Year’s Day at the always tough Southern Scuffle tournament.
