Oklahoma State Athletics Reports Zero Active COVID Cases
A week after their highest COVID report in over a month, the Cowboys report zero cases.
A week after reporting a minor uptick in COVID-19 cases within its football program, Oklahoma State announced that it had zero active cases for all sports on Monday.
These results through Sunday, Oct. 18, give the school a clean slate with 128 total cumulative cases (all sports combined) since testing began on June 1.
Last week, OSU reported five active cases, three of which were on the football team. That was up one from two active football cases the week before, and the most in the football team since Sept. 7, before the start of the season.
OSU sat out for an extra Saturday last week after a COVID-19 outbreak at Baylor caused the Cowboys’ fourth game of the season to be postponed. Oklahoma State is set to host Iowa State this coming Saturday at 2:30 p.m. It will be the Cowboys’ first game in three weeks.
