Oklahoma State Favored by Double Digits against Iowa State in Week 6

Vegas likes the Pokes to take care of business against the Cyclones.

Oklahoma State, for the third consecutive week, opens in Vegas as a double-digit favorite.

Opening lines from have the Pokes, fresh off a 48-28 win over Kansas, as a 10-point favorite over Iowa State at home this weekend. OSU closed as 17.5-point favorites over the Jayhawks this past weekend and covered the spread.

The Cyclones are coming off a 17-14 loss to TCU last week. They are now 0-2 in Big 12 play, and 1-3 on the season, with their lone win coming against Akron in mid-September.

As for Iowa State’s record against the spread this season, things are much better. The Clones have been underdogs in three of four games, and covered the spread twice — most recently losing to TCU by 3 despite being an 11-point dog.

Oklahoma State, meanwhile, has had only slightly better luck. It has been favored in all but one game this season, against Boise State, and covered the spread in three of those contests: South Alabama, Boise State and Kansas.
