Oklahoma State Football Betting Win Total for 2020 Season Set at 8.5

You taking the over or under?

If there is a college football season in 2020, oddsmakers are putting an over/under on Oklahoma State’s win total that might make you wish there isn’t one if the under hits.

The good folks over at BetOnline released win totals this week, which you can gamble on, and Oklahoma State’s over/under was set at 8.5. (So if you bet the under you’re betting OSU wins eight or fewer games; if you bet the over you’re betting OSU wins nine or more.)

Absolutely rude! Slap in the face! The oddsmaker who set it at 8.5 is garbage!

OSU is going to return 10 starters on defense. And on offense, Chuba Hubbard, Tylan Wallace and Spencer Sanders are all back (among others). So they saw all that and set the over/under at 8.5? I don’t gamble and certainly don’t tell people what to do with their hard-earned cash, but this seems like free money! (It’s probably not because it never is, but still!)

For comparison, here’s a look at some of the other over/unders …

  • Alabama: 10.5
  • Clemson: 11.5
  • Texas A&M: 9.5 (LOL)
  • OU: 9.5
  • Texas: 8.5
  • Baylor: 7.5
  • Iowa State: 7.5
  • TCU: 6.5
  • Kansas State: 6.5
  • West Virginia: 5.5
  • Texas Tech: 5.5
  • Kansas: 3.5

This all comes with a giant asterisk about, you know, whether there is a college football season or not. But if there is, I look forward to again being outraged at the 8.5 over/under here in a few months.
