Oklahoma State Given 300-1 Odds to Win Basketball National Championship
The Brad Underwood era officially begins Friday night. There’s plenty of optimism surrounding the Cowboys no only due to the first-year head coach, but also due to the once again healthy back-court duo of Phil Forte and Jawun Evans and the seemingly talent-rich pool of youngsters behind them.
Bovada has released futures for the 2017 NCAA men’s basketball national champion and the Cowboys have been given 300-1 odds to win the national championship.
Other Big 12 teams include:
- Kansas (7-1)
- Texas (40-1)
- West Virginia (66-1)
- Iowa State (75-1)
- Oklahoma (75-1)
- Baylor (150-1)
- Kansas State (250-1)
- TCU (500-1)
Who knows? Stranger things have happened. Brad Underwood has made noise in the tournament before with teams far less talented than Oklahoma State. Plus, Donald Trump was a 250-1 favorite to win the presidency when he first started his candidacy. Now here we are.
On the day he announced his candidacy, Donald Trump was a 250/1 longshot to be the next U.S. President.
