Oklahoma State Hoops Garnering Votes in AP, Coaches Polls
Oklahoma State hoops is just outside the top 25 of the latest AP and Coaches Polls that were released earlier this week.
Not bad for a team picked to finish last in the Big 12, eh?
The Pokes garnered eight votes in the AP poll and two votes in the USA Today coaches poll, landing at 32nd and 41st in each poll, respectively, which puts them eighth in the conference in both major polls.
The Pokes have an impressive 10-2 record thus far with their lone losses coming to Texas A&M and Wichita State, with one major win coming over Florida State on a semi-neutral site. They’ll get a chance to bolster their resume ten-fold on Friday when they welcome seventh-ranked West Virginia into Gallagher-Iba to kick off league play at 6 p.m.
