Oklahoma State Lands 14 Seed in Big 12 Tournament
The Cowboys will start off against Colorado.
The Cowboys will face the Buffaloes first in Kansas City.
Oklahoma State is a 14 seed in the 2026 Big 12 Championship and will face 11-seeded Colorado at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night. The game will be streamed on ESPN+. The Cowboys went 0-1 to the Buffs this season.
After a five-game skid down the home stretch of conference play, the Cowboys finished 2-2 in their last four including an 82-75 loss to No. 7 Houston on Saturday after leading by as much as 13 in the first half and leading a good chunk of the second.
All in all, the Cowboys retooled roster went 18-12 and 6-12 in the regular season, an improvement on the 17-18 finish in Steve Lutz’s first season at the helm. OSU lost second-leading scorer Parsa Fallah for the year due to a torn ACL in the Cowboys’ overtime win over West Virginia.
The Cowboys faced the Buffaloes on Feb. 21, falling 83-69 in Boulder despite fighting back from a 17-point deficit to briefly take the lead. If they can pay that back on a neutral site, the Pokes will face 6-seeded TCU at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night. That second-round matchup would be televised on either ESPN 2 or ESPN U.
