The Cowboys got some much-needed good news on Monday.

Maliek Bracy, a three-star cornerback out of Argyle, Texas, announced his commitment to Oklahoma State on Monday.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound defensive back chose the Cowboys from a list of 22 offers including the likes of Auburn, Houston, Ole Miss, Arizona, Arizona State and Michigan State.

Bracy is a speedster who can also make plays on the ball.

As a junior in 2024, Bracy nabbed five interceptions, including a pick six, to go along with 44 total tackles and two tackles for loss. He also has an interception in 2023. Bracy also competed in track and field, starring both the long jump and the 200-meter.

The Cowboys may be going through a bit of turmoil and turnover at the moment, but that did not dissuade him from committing. He was on campus for Oklahoma State’s 19-12 loss to Tulsa, the final game under Mike Gundy, but he’s still picking the Pokes.

Bracy becomes the eighth pledge of the Cowboys’ 2026 class and their third DB joining safety Braeden Presley (Bixby, Okla) and cornerback Brandon Ford (Crowley, Texas). After the commitment, Oklahoma State ranks 102nd nationally in team recruiting rankings and 16th in the Big 12.

Take a look at his junior season highlights, replete with those picks.
