Oklahoma State Lands Former UTEP Edge Rusher Kyran Duhon
Duhon was an CUSA all-freshman selection this past year.
The Cowboys reached into the transfer portal and nabbed a edger rusher with tons of potential, and tons of time.
Kyran Duhon, a rising sophomore who’s already earned some acclaim, announced that he’s headed to Oklahoma State on Friday.

Duhon was listed as a backup on UTEP’s depth chart but came on strong late, recording five of his seven sacks in the Miner’s last three games. But that didn’t stop him from ranking second among Conference USA players, behind only fellow Miner Maurice Westmoreland (eight). The pair helped lead UTEP to its highest sack total in more than 20 years. He also had 43 total tackles and two pass breakups.
For his efforts, the true freshman was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman team, as well as On3 True Freshman All-American squad. He entered the transfer portal on Dec. 9. He announced an OSU offer via his X account on Dec. 12.
Duhon was a three-star prospect out of Summer Creek High School in Humble, Texas. He chose UTEP amid a dozen offers including the likes of Washington State and Marshall.
This comes just days after OSU secured the commitment of former West Georgia defensive lineman Malik Charles.
Oklahoma State is in the midst of a major retooling across its staff and roster with Todd Grantham taking over as defensive coordinator and former Charlotte DC Ryan Osborn set to coach the defensive line.
