The Cowboys earned a win over the Jackrabbits to start their season, now they want to beat them on the recruiting trail.

Oklahoma State extended an offer to three-star defensive lineman Cash Jacobsen, the Jenks native announced on Sunday.

Jacobsen hails from Oklahoma powerhouse Jenks High School, just over an hour away from Stillwater. So, with the buzz that’s been generated around him of late, it makes sense that Bryan Nardo and Co. should look at keeping him in-state.

The 6-foot-5, 265-pound two-way trenchman committed to South Dakota State when the Jackrabbits offered back in June, despite already holding offers from Navy, Army, Air Force, Yale, Cornell and others. Texas Tech came calling in September and now his home state Cowboys have thrown their hat into the ring. So, an eclectic offer sheet that will only continue to grow and his initial commitment will definitely be tested.

Jacobsen is a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports, and is considered the No. 25 prospect in the state of Oklahoma. He plays both interior offensive and defensive line, but based on his X tags, it looks like OSU is looking for him to plug up some of those leaky running lanes in its defensive front.

Oklahoma State currently has 17 commitments for its 2025 class, headlined by four-star defensive lineman Michael Riles. Along with Jordan Covington and Alexander McPherson, the Cowboys already have three D-Linemen committed.

Take a look at Jacobsen’s junior season highlights.
