Oklahoma State Offers 2023 Quarterback Bo Edmundson
He hails from a high school known for producing QBs.
The Cowboys have gone to Bedlam rival Baker Mayfield’s old stomping grounds looking for their next quarterback.
Oklahoma State offered Class of 2023 standout Bo Edmundson on Friday. Edmundson plays at Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas. That high school has a history of producing Division-I gunslingers, as guys like Garrett Gilbert and Charlie Brewer also hail from Lake Travis.
Who Is He?
In just five games in 2020, Edmundson threw for 1,409 yards and 17 touchdowns. That’s a 281.8 yards and 3.4 touchdowns a game.
He is listed at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds as a high school sophomore. His arm talent supersedes his youth, as he is already able to make a ton of difficult throws.
Others Involved
OSU is the first Power Five program to offer Edmundson, but that won’t last long with him having two more seasons at the helm of Lake Travis’ offense.
He also holds offers from SMU and UTSA.
2023 QBs
Edmundson is just the second QB OSU has offered in the 2023 cycle, joining California standout Malachi Nelson.
OSU offered Nelson in May, and he has since picked up offers from Texas, Tennessee, Michigan, Penn State, NC State, Miami, Oklahoma, Arizona and Utah.
