Oklahoma State Offers Dual-Sport In-State Product Morgan Pearson
Pearson is a high school sophomore and throws an 88 mph fastball.

Planview’s Morgan Pearson announced an Oklahoma State offer Monday. Pearson’s OSU football offer came eight months after Pearson announced an offer from Josh Holliday and the Oklahoma State baseball program.
Who Is He?
Pearson is a Class of 2023 wide receiver listed at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds.
He was a jump-ball specialist for Plainview as a sophomore this past season, where 50/50 balls looked more like 80/20 balls. He looks like a cheat code in his sophomore highlight tape playing 3A Oklahoma high school football, and he is just a sophomore. His senior film is going to be ridiculous.
On the diamond, Pearson is a right-handed pitcher, outfielder, third baseman and a shortstop, according to Perfect Game. He has a Perfect Game grade of 8.5 which puts him somewhere between “Potential draft pick and/or excellent college prospect” and “Potential top 10 round pick and/or highest level college prospect.”
The baseball scouting website also clocked his fastball at 88 mph. Again, he is just a sophomore in high school.
Others Involved
OSU was one of Pearson’s first two Power Five offers, as he announced an Iowa State offer just two minutes before his OSU one. He also has an offer from Illinois State.
As far as baseball goes, Pearson has announced offers from OSU and OU.
