Oklahoma State Offers In-State Safety Cooper Lai
Lai plays safety and quarterback for 2A Cascia Hall.

The Cowboys became the first FBS program to offer an in-state, small school kid Wednesday.
Cooper Lai, who plays at 2A Cascia Hall in Tulsa, announced an Oklahoma State offer. A safety prospect in the 2023 class, Lai went to OSU’s camps earlier this month and apparently made a good impression.
Who Is He?
Listed at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds, Lai played quarterback and safety for a Cascia Hall squad that went 9-4 in 2021. The Commandoes made it to the quarterfinal round of the 2A state playoffs before falling to eventual state champion Marlow.
Others Involved
OSU is the first FBS program to offer Lai, but he has also announced offers from FCS Drake and Division-II Emporia State.
