Oklahoma State Pitcher Harrison Bodendorf Earned All-American Honors
Bodendorf had the most wins by a Cowboy pitcher since 2019.
The Cowboys’ ace took home some hardware.
Oklahoma State left-handed pitcher Harrison Bodendorf was named to the All-American second team by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association following his 10-1 season.
In his first season at OSU after transferring from Hawaii, Bodendorf started 16 games and logged a 3.30 ERA. He also earned the Big 12 Newcomer of the Year and was an all-conference first-teamer.
Those 10 wins ranked fifth nationally and were the most by an OSU pitcher since 2019 when Jenson Elliott went 10-4. Bodendorf’s 102 strikeouts ranked fifth in the Big 12 and 36th nationally. He’s the 17th Cowboy to record 100 Ks. His .204 opponent batting average is second in the league while his 3.30 ERA ranked third.
Bodendorf becomes the eighth All-American coached by now retired pitching coach Rob Walton, and he brings OSU’s total All-American count to 151.
