Oklahoma State Runner Tori Ortiz Signs NIL Deal with WWE
Ortiz is a force in the NIL game.

Oklahoma State track star Tori Ortiz has been named to the third class of the WWE NIL program.
Ortiz is a graduate student sprinter at OSU, earning All-Big 12 honors in 2022 for the outdoor 4×400-meter relay and the indoor 600 yards. She also earned outdoor and indoor All-Big 12 honors in 2021.
From the WWE release: “The ‘Next In Line’ program has signed 46 college athletes since its inception in December 2021 including the program’s first signee, Olympic Gold medalist Gable Steveson. The program serves to recruit and develop potential future Superstars and further enhances WWE’s talent development process through collaborative partnerships with college athletes from diverse athletic backgrounds. WWE has signed athletes from 13 different sports including 35 members of Power-Five conferences who have collectively earned 40 NCAA All-American Honors and 12 NCAA National Championships.”
Ortiz is a force in the NIL game. Across Twitter, Instagram and Tiktok she has more than 780,000 followers.
This third class of the “Next In Line” program includes 15 student-athletes from all around the country. The partnership features access to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando and access to resources across the organization including brand building, media training, communications, live event promotion, creative writing and community relations. After completing the NIL program, Ortiz could earn a WWE contract.
