Oklahoma State Sets New Record For Points In a First Half With 68
Oklahoma State scored 68 points in the first half against New Orleans on Wednesday evening in GIA in its last tune-up before the Maui Invitational next week. The 68 points in a half is a new Oklahoma State school record for points in a first half. The previous mark was 67 against Houston Baptist back in 1998. The overall record is 72 points back in 2007 against Southwestern Oklahoma State in a second half.
Four different players scored in double figures in the first 20 minutes.
To put that first-half scoring total in perspective: #OKState scored less than 68 points in 17 full games last season.

The 32-point halftime lead was also one of the biggest in school history. OSU was up 68-36 at the half. OSU is well on its way to its third straight 100-point performance which hasn’t happened since the 2008-2009 season.
