Oklahoma State Unveils 1995 Throwbacks for This Weekend’s Texas Tech Game
Perfection.
This weekend’s Oklahoma State-Texas Tech game is a celebration of the 25-year anniversary of the 1995 team making it to the Final Four in Seattle. The festivities kicked off on Friday evening with a big reveal of some amazing throwback uniforms.
I know I’m biased (like, maybe the most biased), but these are a nice addition to the best collection of football and basketball kits of any school in the country. We can argue (and we will!) about whether they touch the cursive Cowboys, but for now we’ll just admire how perfect they are.
Here’s a good look at the originals, which OSU wore en route to defeating Drexel, Alabama, Wake Forest and UMass before losing to UCLA in the national semifinals.

Just like they’ve done with past football throwbacks, they made all the right upgrades: Better fit, Nike in the right spot, Big 12 logo and some nice kicks to match. I don’t know how you could do this any better.
OSU will wear these when they tip against Texas Tech at noon on Saturday. Oh, and if you’re one of the first 1,995 in attendance, you’ll get one of these free shirts to commemorate the occasion.
They're here! The first 1⃣,9⃣9⃣5⃣ fans tomorrow can get their hands on these shirts in the GIA East lobby once doors open at 11 a.m.
